Kickstand Shoe's bolt onto the bottom of the sidestand, to enlarge the original’s footprint by up to 100%, significantly spreading the load placed upon it, to help prevent the stand ‘piercing’ the ground. Despite this enlargement, the Shoe does not affect ground clearance or interfere with the chain run during normal riding.
Available for nearly 100 different bikes, covering popular adventure, sports, nakeds and touring machines, each Shoe is bespoke to the intended bike and sandwiches the existing stand foot with an aluminium bottom level to prevent corrosion and is topped with a stainless steel lid for strength. These R&G Lockstop Savers have been specially designed for the BMW S1000RR '19-. In the event of a crash, the lockstops on the yoke can often get broken off easily in the violence that is a motorcycle crash, this can result in clip-ons/handlebars moving back further than normal and impacting the fuel tank or frame causing more damage, R&G Lockstop Savers prevent this from happening, adding another layer of protection to a vulnerable part of the bike. Easy to install and available with either Black or White lockstop bobbins. Please Note: This product is a motorcycle track racing product and does slightly reduce the steering lock angle side to side and on some applications disables the ability to put the steering lock on your motorcycle yoke (due to the reduced steering angle).No drilling required.
