These R&G Lockstop Savers have been specially designed for the BMW S1000RR '19-. In the event of a crash, the lockstops on the yoke can often get broken off easily in the violence that is a motorcycle crash, this can result in clip-ons/handlebars moving back further than normal and impacting the fuel tank or frame causing more damage, R&G Lockstop Savers prevent this from happening, adding another layer of protection to a vulnerable part of the bike. Easy to install and available with either Black or White lockstop bobbins. Please Note: This product is a motorcycle track racing product and does slightly reduce the steering lock angle side to side and on some applications disables the ability to put the steering lock on your motorcycle yoke (due to the reduced steering angle).No drilling required.

Are they cotton reels or spindle sliders? Well they are both really!!
The Cotton Reel is mounted to a special, black-anodised aluminium bracket (included with the kit). The product will give protection to the swingarm area in most crashes. Also the bike can be lifted on the Cotton Reels, using a paddock stand with hooks (suggest R&G code SH0001). For rear wheel removal, you can take the Cotton Reels out of the aluminium blocks and insert them into the paddock stand bobbin screw holes.The protectors are supplied and fitted together, with a special black-anodized aluminum bracket. This bracket is used, the forces occurring in a fall and reduce divert forces from the wing to the rear.
Conveniently, on the aluminum plate, a mark is attached, after you can perfectly adjust your chain.
Since the guards are bolted to the bracket, you can easily exchange after a fall.Delivery: left & right side
