Are they cotton reels or spindle sliders? Well they are both really!!
The Cotton Reel is mounted to a special, black-anodised aluminium bracket (included with the kit), bringing the Cotton Reel away from the exhaust silencer. The product will give protection to the swingarm area in most crashes. Also the bike can be lifted on the Cotton Reels, using a paddock stand with hooks (suggest R&G code SH0001). For rear wheel removal, you can take the Cotton Reels out of the aluminium blocks and insert them into the paddock stand bobbin screw holes.The protectors are supplied and fitted together, with a special black-anodized aluminum bracket. This bracket is used, the forces occurring in a fall and reduce divert forces from the wing to the rear.
Conveniently, on the aluminum plate, a mark is attached, after you can perfectly adjust your chain.
Since the guards are bolted to the bracket, you can easily exchange after a fall.Delivery: left & right side

These new style offset cotton reels were designed to fit the Kawasaki ZX6R with standard exhaust/can.
