R&G Offset Cotton Reels protect the swingarm and core swingarm components from damage in the event of a crash, slide or drop. Doubling up as paddock stand bobbins too, they allow the motorcycles rear wheel to be lifted into the air with the use of a paddock stand to perform chain adjustments, chain lubrication and cleaning! This particular pair of R&G Offset Cotton Reel kit has been specially designed to move the Cotton Reel/Paddock Stand Bobbin location further rearward as if paddock stand bobbins are installed into the OE swingarm position they'll impact the OE exhaust during suspension travel, causing damage and suspension performance issues.
- The protectors are supplied and fitted together, with a special black-anodized aluminum bracket. This bracket is used, the forces occurring in a fall and reduce divert forces from the wing to the rear.
- Since the guards are bolted to the bracket, you can easily exchange after a fall.
