They include a replaceable puck or slider on the impact face, giving the case not only more meat to grind through to further enhance the protection offered by a standard R&G Engine Case Cover but also offering an easy low-cost fix should you only have a "minor" slide, crash or drop. Engineered to allow just the "puck" to be replaced and your cover to be reused again and again!

Our industry leading crash protectors are now available in a special race kit as used in the British superbikes championship for the Kawasaki ZX6R ('09-), utilsing existing engine mounts to install R&G crash protectors, they offer essential protection to the bike frame, engine and radiator keeping them raised up and away from the tarmac in the event of a crash or drop.
This kit requires both left and right hand side panels to be trimmed to install correctly.
Easy to install they utilise our own specially engineer brackets mounting directly onto frame and engine mounts and replacing existing engine bolts with our own specially formulated bolts, stainless steel brackets and spacers.
Please be aware this kit is for RACE USE ONLY and as such is supplied with shorter than standard bobbins which may reduce the protection offered to the fairing panels in the event of a crash compared to our standard length protector kit.
